Every year the Leicestershire Wildfowlers' Association attends at least some of the local country shows, putting on a display which varies a little depending on the venue and facilities.

We always have members present who will discuss and advise on country pursuits and the benefits that LWA membership affords.

We usually have ferret racing, air rifle range, catapult range and a game chef with a mouth-watering cooking demonstration.

Our gundog section put on a display showing how easy it is to have a good gundog by your side. We also put on terrier racing when space allows and, so you don't go home empty handed, we run a tombola.

• Sunday, September 7th - Sutton Bonnington Show
