Conservation Sites

The Leicestershire Wildfowlers' Association recommends the following sites, detailing conservation projects and groups across the UK:

Existing to provide farmers, landowners and other clients with the best opportunity for environmental gain through cost effective, quality solutions.

  • Leicestershire & Rutland Ornithological Society (LROS)

  • Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust
The largest international wetland conservation charity in the UK. Founded in 1946 by the artist and naturalist Sir Peter Scott (1909-1989), WWT has 9 visitor centres around the UK, where people can get closer to wetland birds and enjoy spectacular wetland landscapes.
